Rules for Cyclone
Running
Doubles must run together and not be further than 10m apart.
Doubles must enter the Cyclone stations together and exit together.
Each run must start with both partners together.
Doubles MUST cross the line together.
Rowing
Partners must enter the station together.
Both members of the team must complete a part of the row.
Rowing distance can be divided as partners choose.
The damper can be adjusted only once.
When the athlete completes the required distance, he/she raises his/her arm to call over a judge to confirm the completion.
Only after receiving the judges confirmation of completion, the athlete/s can leave the platform and the station.
Partners must exit the station together
Ski
Partners must enter the station together.
Both members of the team must complete a part of the ski.
Ski distance can be divided as partners choose.
Damper can be adjusted only once.
After completing the required distance, the athlete must raise his/her arm to call over a judge to confirm the required distance has been completed.
Only after receiving the judges confirmation of completion the athlete may leave the platform and the station.

Bike
Partners must enter the station together.
Both members of the team must complete a part of the bike.
Bike distance can be divided as partners choose.
Damper can be adjusted only once.
Seat may be adjusted to suit each pair.
After completing the required distance the athlete must raise his/her arm to call over a judge to confirm the required distance has been completed.
Only after receiving the judges confirmation of completion the athlete may leave the platform and the station.
Partners must exit the station together
Burpee Broad Jumps (BBJ)
Partners must enter the station together.
Both members of the team must complete a part of the BBJ.
BBJ can be divided as partners choose.
Full burpee and broad jump must be completed by one athlete, you CANNOT partition the burpee and the jump between athletes
The first athlete starts with their hands placed on the start line
Hands must be placed close to feet (at most one-foot length away) on starting the burpee.
Once the hands are placed on the ground they cannot be moved forward.
The chest must then clearly touch the ground.
Athletes can step in or out of the burpee position.
The jump must be a two-footed jump forward with both feet jumping and landing simultaneously.
If the feet are staggered when taking off the athlete needs to make sure both feet land simultaneously and parallel to each other.
No steps or foot shuffles are permitted after landing.
When stepping or jumping back up from the lower position, the feet cannot pass the athlete’s fingertips.
The length of each broad jump is up to the athlete.
Partners must start with their feet in line with their partners, not in front.
The station is completed, once the athlete jumps OVER the finish line.
Partners must exit the station together
If any of the above rules are violated athletes will be given a warning, if the rep is violated again after one warning then the rep becomes invalid and must be repeated and must be repeated where it started.
Goblet hold walking lunges
Partners must enter the station together.
The goblet lunge begins and ends with the kettlebell being removed or returned from the marked area next to the start/finish line.
The athlete must lift up the kettlebell without assistance and place it In the goblet hold only.
The athlete starts standing tall with both feet behind the line before starting their first lunge across the start line.
During each lunge, the trailing knee must clearly touch the ground. Each repetition ends with knees and hips fully extended.
Lunges must be alternating i.e. alternating knees touching the ground.
The athlete can either lunge continuously or stop after each lunge with both feet parallel on the ground.
Taking any steps or shuffles between repetitions is not permitted.
The station is complete once the athlete lunges OVER the finish line and returns the kettlebell to the marked area.
Passing the kettlebell to a partner must be done sideways or to the partner behind.
The kettlebell CAN be placed on the ground to rest at the athlete’s feet or can be placed on the ground to the side or behind to pass to their partner.
Partners must exit the station together
If any of the above rules are violated athletes will be given a warning, if the repetition is violated again after one warning then the repetition becomes invalid and must be repeated where it started
Mixed doubles use the male weights
D-ball ground to shoulder
Partners must enter the station together.
The ball must start on the floor and be lifted to the shoulder.
Once the ball is on the shoulder the opposite hand must be put out straight to signal to the judge that the athlete has control.
The ball must then be dropped or placed in FRONT of the athlete when the repetition is complete.
Ball can be placed on alternate shoulders or the same shoulder.
If the ball continues over the shoulder the rep is invalid as uncontrolled.
Once the judge signals to the athlete that the reps are complete the athlete’s can move on.
Mixed doubles use male weights
Partners must exit the station together
If the athlete violates any of the above-mentioned points, the repetition becomes invalid.
Lighter balls will be available for those failing to complete the full amount at the prescribed weight however if used to complete will result in a 3 minute time penalty.
Lighter balls available will be 15kg for females, 20kg for males.
In this circumstance for doubles, if either partner needs to use the lighter weight the 3 minute penalty still stands.
Failure to complete the prescribed repetitions with any weight will result in a 6 minute penalty.
